Up Blocks are 1"x1" plastic 3D blocks that are individually painted and glued together. The differences in heights combined with the unlimited color options create a dynamic medium of expression symbolic of our colorful personalities. 

Up Blocks started as a byproduct of 3D printing the Vaase concept and the first few pieces were assembled using 3D printed blocks. That process was painfully slow so we set out to find a more efficient way of making the blocks which ultimately led to them being injection molded out of polycarbonate plastic.

Colors for Up Blocks are all custom mixed and are applied with an airbrush. We are just getting started exploring the infinite configurations and layouts of Up Blocks and we're excited to get to use such a versatile medium that we can call our own.
